Joshy is a writer–illustrator whose work bridges graphic storytelling and animation. He is the creator of the Malayalam graphic novels Pannimalath and Koprachev. The English translation of Pannimalath, titled The Pig Flip (HarperCollins, 2023), received the FICCI Publishing Award for Graphic Novel of the Year (2024), marking a major milestone for regional graphic literature in India.

Joshy’s debut animated short film, A Coconut Tree, won the 2024 National Film Award for Best Animation Film, establishing him as an emerging voice in India’s independent animation landscape.

With a distinctive visual language and a commitment to deeply rooted local stories, Joshy continues to expand his creative practice across comics, illustration, and film.
