Dinesh C. Sharma is a distinguished author and journalist based in New Delhi, with over 35 years of professional experience covering science, technology, climate change, health, environment, and innovation. An award-winning journalist, he has contributed to prestigious national and international publications, including The Lancet and Wired.

Sharma has held prominent editorial roles such as Science Editor at Mail Today and Managing Editor at India Science Wire. From 2020 to 2021, he was honored as a Jawaharlal Nehru Fellow. In 2008, he participated in a landmark international scientific expedition to the Arctic to report on climate change firsthand.His acclaimed books include the national bestseller Indian Innovation, Not Jugaad - 100 Ideas that Transformed India and The Outsourcer: The Story of India's IT Revolution, which won the Computer History Museum Book Prize in 2016.
